THOUGHTS FOR FARMERS.

Our old prejudices towards farming in our educational circles must be swept away, and the aspiring youth must be shown that the land offers a broad and cultural life to the well-educated, who possess refined tastes and sterling characters. .The germ of life is :n the soil, and- the scientifically-trained will stir it into being. Agricultural education must have a prominent place in .the new order of things, and agriculture must Tse recognised as a calling for the cultured.. .;
