X WHEREAS by a Warrant dated November 13tb, 1918, and made under Section 18 of the Public Health Act, 1908, His Excellency the GovernorGeneral has conferred upon all District Health Officers Power and Authority with the approval of the Minister of Public Health to close all or any hotel bars, bars of chartered clubs, or other places within their sev--1 eral districts respectively for the purpose of more effectually checking or preventing the spread of Influenza. Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said power and for the said purpose, I, ROBERT HALDANE MAKGILL, District Health Officer, do hereby require all hotel bars, chartered club bars, breweries, and wholesale wine and spirit premises, situated in all cities, boroughs and town districts, and within a radius of three miles of the respective boundaries of the said cities, boroughs and town districts within the Wellington Health District, to close absolutely, as from nine o’clock a.m. on Monday, the Eighteenth day of November, 1918, until further notice. i ‘ Dated at Wellington this sixteenth day of November, 1918.
