gU4|4^|tWg In view of the serious epidemic now prevalent in the Dominion, every local authority is required to take urgent and immediate steps to secure the safest possible sanitary conditions in its district, and as part thereof to maintain at some central place supplies of disinfectant for speedy issue to the public; also to make it widely known that the public should not at present travel beyond their own locality. Every local authority is advised to make ready to have a standard influenza remedy available for speedy issue to the public on demand. The public are requested to carefully read any advice regarding influenza as from time to time may be published, and to each in his own capacity to give every assistance by improving the sanitary conditions of his own house, and by taking all precautions necessary to combat the outbreak.
