PEACE MOVEMENT.

WILSON’S SKILFUL DIPLOMACY

UNSTINTED PRAISE GIVEN.

Received 11 a.m

NEW YORK, Nov 5

The “Times” Wasliin gtou correspon- ' dent says: Unstinted praise is given to President Wilson for having played a most skilful diplomatic hand in dealing with the Central Powers, thu(; bringing about a situation which, meant ending the war upon terms dictated by the Allies. Even those who adversely criticised Mr. Wilson’s Note writing to Germany and Austria conceded his successful diplomatic manoeuvre, wlfich does not mean that credit is accorded to Mr Wilson alone, because it is thoroughly understood he has been in close touch with the Allies in every move he has made.
