RANGITIKEI A. & P. ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the General Committee of the Rangitikei A. and P. Association was held on Saturday last there being present Messrs. J. A, Anderson (chairman), Addis, Fannin, Lawson, E. Anderson, Wilkie, Bennett, Missen, Goodrick, Brown, MeColl } Bradley and Terry. The chief business was the consideration of the erection of permanent cattle pens. The special committee which had been appointed to go into the matter reported that they had met on the ground, and laid off a site for 170 pens. The estimate which was obtained for the work, being so high, made it impossible to do the work as suggested, It was then decided that as it was absolutely necessary that improved accommodation be provided for the cattle, gates of uniform size be put on the present pens and the special committee report as to the best that can be done toward providing additional accommodation.
