There was a fairly large yarding of stock, except of fat cattle, which were in short supply, at Addington to-day. Wellrwoolled store wethers and hoggets were in fair demand, and fat lambs sold at improved rates. Fat sheep were irregular, and prices generally were easier in consequence of the fairly large yarding. Store cattle met with a dull sale, and store pigs were much easier, especially weaners, which were in over supply. The range of prices was: Store sheep, sound-mouth ewes 235, failing-mouth ewes and lambs 16s (all counted), 4th and 6th wethers 37s 6d to 4as 6d, 6th and Bth wethers 37s 6d, ewe hoggets 35s Id, m.s. hoggets 23s 9d, wether hoggets 23s 6d.

PALMERSTON NORTH. Messrs Abraham and Williams. Ltd. report: At Palmerston North on the 17th inst, we had a small yarding of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle. Practically every lot was sold under the hammer. We quote: Ewes with lambs ,34s to 35s 4d, forward ewes to 31s sd, shorn hoggets 18/6. Cattle: Dairy cows £8 7/6, £lO 10/, to £l4 5/; springing heifers £lO to , £lO 5/, heifers in milk £9 to £lO, fat cows £lO to £ll 2/, forward cows £8 7/6 to £9 10/, store cows £6 11/, £6 15/ to £7 17/6, 2yr steers £9 1/ to £lO 3/, yearling steers £6 6/, £6 13/„ to £6 15/, 2yr heifers £6 6/ to £7 5/, yearling heifers £3 10/ to £5 14/.
FEILDING. Messrs Abraham and Williams Ltd. report: We held the usual weekly sale at Feilding on Friday, the 18th inst. The sheep market was a little easier and only a few lots changed hands. There was a fair demand for cattle. We quote: Fat wethers £2 6/, fat ewes 25/3, 29/8 to 30/, fat b.f. hoggets 23/9 to 24/4, mixed hoggets 21/9 to 22/7, small hoggets to 17/, cows in milk £lO, £l2 5/, £l3 5/, £l4 to £l4 2/6 springing heifers £lO £l2, £l3 10/, to £ls, fat cows £ll 15/ to £l2 10/, 18-month steers small £5 7/6, yearling steers £5 6/ to £6 2/6, yearling heifers £4 8/ to £5 6/, S.H. bull £l7, yearling S.H. bulls £8 5/ to £9 10/.
