MACEDONIAN CAMPAIGN.

FRANCO-SERBIAN DRIVE FOR THE DANUBE. Received 10 a.m. LONDON, Oct 21. The Franco-Serbian forces have reached Zaychar. (Zaychar is 40 miles north of Nish, and about 20 miles west of the river Danube at Widin. Evidently the operation is intended to secure the passage of the Danube, which would have very far-reaching effects on future operations. The Rumanian territory is on the opposite side of the Danube at Widin.)
