SEEADLER TO BE SOLD.

The German raider Seeadler, whicli was wrecked on Mopclia Island, 280 miles west of Tahiti, is to be sold by auction. o n December 16. The majority of tlm crew of the Seeadler escaped after she was wrecked in August, 1917 by seizing the French schooner Lutece' The commander Count von Luckner* and five of the members of the crew of the Seeadler, were afterwards captured near Levuka, Fiji, and interned m New Zealand. The vessel was formerly the Pass of B’alma, an American sailing ship t captured and taken to Cuxhaven, by a prize crew in August 1915, leaving Germany as a raider in December, 1915, She is reported to onlL SUnk 10 vcssels ’ totalling over 30,000 tons.
