TENNIS.

The official opening of the Taihapo Tennis Club’s Courts will take place on Thursday afternoon. 17th inst. All members and intending members and their friends are cordially invited to be present. Thursday will be ta general afternoon tea day, and all lady members are requested to provide accordingly. At the annual meeting Mr <1 Masters was 1 re-elected auditor and Mr P. E. Wiakeman, president for the ensuing year. The courts are now fully occupied, and the new members, the ladies especially, are making the best of the fine weather, experienced during the last few days. The following additional new members have been elected: Misses E. McAuliffe and Parnell.
