ROLL OF HONOUR.

In proud and loving memory of our dear son and brother 23/2097 Corporal J. C. Swenson, killed in action on Passchendaele Ridge, Somewhere in France, on October 12th, 1917, aged 26 years, 5 months. No more upon this earth we'll see your dear familiar face; There is not one in this wide world can ever fill your place. No more we hope or pray for thee, Thy mission is fulfilled; The busy hands are folded now, The Testless feet are stilled. Yet wherefor should we grieve that rest so soon to thee was given, That peace is thine, for which so long your heart has vainly striven. His duty nobly done. Inserted by his sorrowing parents, father, mother, sisters, and brothers.
