PURSUANT to the provisions of Section 138 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,”- Public Notice hereby given that the Taihape Bor- , ough Council invites tenders for the purchase of the Lease of the undermentioned allotments:— LOT I. —Being part Sec. 7 Blk. YU, containing approximately 27.3 j poles. 1 | LOT II. —Being part Sec. 7, Blk. VII, j Kuku Street,; Taihape; containing approximately 25.7 poles. The upset rental of each allotment has been fixed at £ls each, and the valuation for improvement on Lot 2 is £55. No Tender will be considered below the upset rental and in respect of Lot 2, which does not also contain an offer of at least the amount as Valuation for improvement fixed. Tenders, which close on 17th October at 4 p.m., should be addressed to the undersigned and marked “Tender for Lease.” Each Tender must be accompanied by a deposit equal to half the amount offered on Valuation for improvements.
