PALESTINE.
BRITISH CAPTURE DAMASCUS. Received S_ss a.in. LONDON, October 2. The Evening News states that Damascus has been captured. Another message states that Damascus ottered to capitulate. An official message has been issued stating that Damascus was occupied by the Allied troops at 6 o’clock on Monday morning.
