Received 11.20 a.m_ NEW YORK, September 30 The New York Worid'-s correspondent with the .l.iiorijun army in France sings the praise of certain eonting3uts of Negro troops from New York, who upon arrival ii Fraice were gree'i and unfit recruits, and now they have demonstrated themselves to be almost super soldiers. Many of their number, have received the Croix de Guerre. He asked a white colonel what he thought of them. He said: "They are just as good soldiers' material as the United States can produce they have faced every hellish Hun contrivance,'and done everything demanded of them, and they ■ have come itjhroiugh with tJoloiic3 frying and high spirits. I' have not seen better soldiers in this war than these Negroes. French officers are delighted with them."
