KING’S THEATRE. Alma Rubens is the star of the Triangle super-feature entitled “I Love You,” showing at the King’s to-night, and as Felice, or “The Passion Flower,” she has a role for which her warm beauty and fascinating temperament are perfectly suited. The story opens with some delightful scenes in sunny Italy where Felice lives among the flowers as an innocent peasant girl. Then Mardon the young French artist arrives, and is so struck by her beauty that he desires to paint her portrait. She in turn is fascinated by him and yields to his wooing. But like many another flower which serves for monment’s amusement she is soon cast aside by the artist who goes away and never even writes to her. Her portrait however makes him famous. A friend secs it, and sets out to find the model, saying “ Where so much beauty i's the soul must be as fair,” This friend at last finds her. The opening chapter of that exciting serial “The Mystery of the Double Cross” will be shown, in which Peter Hale a wealthy young man of leisure, returning to America received a puzzling wireless. “If you have not as yet received the sign of the “Double Cross,” come at once upon your arrival in New York to the. Hotel Astor, and there road your Father’s will,’ ’ THE SCARLET TROUBADOURS.
