IMPORTANT RESOLUTION. Received 11.40 a.m. LONDON, Sept 27. The National . Liberal Federation overwhelmingly rejected the motion In favour of a sympathetic consideration of the peace overtures, and adopted motions favouring the League of Nations, and demanded the abolition of conscription after the war and the establishment of Home Rule without delay, - 1 v . Mr Samuel, in moving a resolution urging the subordination of all other purposes to an effective prosecution of the war, denounced the tariff war after the war. Germany must be fought until she abandons militarism and is punished for her crimes, but we would not fight in order to establish commercial monopolies, though Germany must await her turn for raw material. The conference adopted a resolution in support of free trade.
