KING'S THEATRE. In the latest Metro release “The Girl Without a Soul," the fascinating little actress Viola Dana is seen in a characterisation that is without question the best work she has yet given to the screen. In the two parts of Unity and Priscilla, two sisters with altogether different personalities, Miss Dana never for a moment overlaps the character of each —there is paver a question which sister she represents at the time. The picture also gives some opportunities for some clever photography where the two girls are on the screen at the same time. Daughters of an old violin-maker the two girls'move in different circles. Priscilla is the talented one, sought after, petted, spoiled and selfish always proper and well clad, and proving an easy victim to the man of the world who tempts her. Unity on the other hand is the girl who has no soul for “art"—she has no talent; she is the Cinderella of the home, thrust into the background on all occasions, but staunch and true of heart, finding happiness in the love of her blaclvsmith hero. Unity is the girl who triumphs over the evil that the outsider brought into their midst —she it is that saves her sister and her loved from shame and suspicion.
