New York delayed Press despatches from Archangel say that ’Allied Diplomatic and Military Staffs have assumed temporary control, following the attempted overthrow of the Tschaikovtsky Government, and they have established a protectorate in the region behind the Allied front, which will be relinquished when order is restored. Tschaikovtsky and members of his Cabinet are now under Allied protection.
