LONDON, September 10. Eeuter’s Amsterdam! /icorreps'ondent states that Count Burian, in a strongly ipacifist speech to German journalists ■visiting Vienna, contending that the belligerents* to their respective war aims would not justify the huge sacrifices still necessary. Therefore he suggested that the adversaries should provide an opportunity for the calm exchange of views. He believed that some sort of direct informative discussion was possib>. which would in no wise be peace negotiations. He exhorted the pressmen to cultivate these views.
