TAIHAPE SALE. Messrs. Abraham and Williams report as follows: The usual fortnightlystock sale held on Wedesnday, 11th inst., comprised some 1500 odd hoggets, which met with strong enquiry, and a small yarding of cattle, mostly dairy cows of indifferent sorts and in low condition. We obtained the highest price realised this season for hoggets in the Taihape yards for a line of 100 wether hoggets on account of W. Coogan, Mataroa, which made the satisfactory price of 31/2. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale at Taihape on Wednesday, the 11th instant, when a small yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward. We quote: Wether hogget from 16s to 25/5, mixed hoggets 19/. Cattle: Empty cows £7 7s Gd to £7 9s, dairy cows £lO, £l2 15s, £l4, to £ls.
