AERIAL POSTAL SERVICE. '~ NEW YORK TO CHICAGO. Received 8.45 a.m. NEW YORK, Sept 6. An air postal service has begun between New York and Chicago. The distance is one hundred miles and the service is hourly. GERMAN PROPERTY SEIZED. BY AMERICANS, Received 8.55 a.m. NEW YORK, September 6. The American Trans-Atlantic Company and the Foreign Transportation and Mercantile Transportation hav\3 been seized by the United States Alien Property Custodian on the grounds that these transportation companies were owned by Germans. According to statements by officials the companies were financed, from Germany through Count Berntorff's assistance. The property seized is valued at ten million dollars.
CHILI SEIZES GERMAN STEAMER, Received 8.55 a.m. NEW YORK, Sept. G. The World's Valparaiso's correspondent reports the Chilian Government has seized all German vessels in Chilian waters to prevent the crews sinking them, with the exception of three steamers, the machinery of which had been rendered useless by the Germans.
