Mrs Boyd decided to accept the position of president, for the time being at least.

A discussion' arose as to the arrange rrient of the members of the' committee taking the shop monthlyj “and it was decided to improve on that by one member being responsible for one week instead of four for one month.,

It was decided to add to the committee, and the secretary was Instructed to write to Mesdames Hamill, Batt, Wrightson,' and Gillie, asking them to become members. It was suggested that someone be appointed responsible for the sewing of the parcels, and that Mrs Hamill be asked to undertake that work. An amount of £2 was handed to the treasurer, being donation from the Taoroa Sunday School towards the Christmas Parcel Fund; also a sum of £8 was received from Mrs Paoroa Batley, the result of canvassing she had undertaken in aid of the same fund.
