HOCKEY.
The following is the Taihape representative hockey team picked by the selectors and they are requested to roll up to play a match against the Old Timers on the Domain to-morrow at 3 p.m.:—Goalkeeper: R. Treadwell; backs: E. McAuliffe and D. Bray; half N. Spooner, E. Donovan, L. Jones; forwards, wings: B. Richards, D. Ldahy inner':' M. Mullins, N. Lauren'sen. centre: C. Donovan. Emergencies: forwards: Donaldson; halves:’ M Leahy; backs: M. Donovan.
Owing to A. Campbell being away for the balance of the season the selectors had to leave her out although her play warranted her a position in the team.
The following will represent the Has Been Hoekeyites in their match against the Lady’s representative team Goalkeeper: J. do vLucn; backs: Father Bougcn and S. Reid; half; H. Dashwood, S. Sheppard, Rev. Hocking; forwards: wings, F. o’Kecfe,J. Munyo; inner, Aquilter, Pungo; centre: H. Green.
The game should prove interesting and instructive to spectators as the Has Bcens will have the knowledge against the girls’ pace.
