AMERICA'S TANK CORPS.

0 The American Army has decided to from a Tank Corps on the same linos as the British. Recognising that the tank has now passed ej*om the experimental stage, they are preparing to add whole fleets -of these machines to the army in France. The mechanical genius of the United States, Henry Ford, has submitted to the War Department the model of a machine which will hold two men. Eaclfbf the large tanks now in use by the British is estimated to be equivalent to 5.00 fighting men. Ford maintains that his machine or "tanklet" as it is called, would be the equal of 150 men at least. They could be produced at a great rate. But, while the idea is under consideration the American Army will use a modified fOTm of the British tank, of a lighter construction and much more mobile.
