THE LUSITANIA MURDER CAPTURED IN MEDITERRANEAN Received 5.50 a.in. PARIS, August 27. Le Journal reports that Lieut, Scwicger, torpedoer of the Lusitania, has been captured in the Mediterranean AERIAL ACTIVITY. LONDON, August 26. The Air Ministry reports: On the night of the 25th-26th we successfully attacked the railway junction atFrankfort and chemical factories at Mannheim, with very good results. We dropped two tons of bombs on factories at Mannheim, causing fires and explosions. The machines flew through heavy thunderstorms. Other machines dropped four tons of bombs on ia hostile aerodrome with, good results. All our machines returned. NORWAY'S LOSSES BY U-BOATS. COMPENSATION DEMANDED. . Received 11.45 a.m. CHRISTIANIA, August 27. Replying to the Norwegian Government’s protest Germany offers compensation wherever it is proved that a Norwegian ship had been torpedoe'd without warning outside the danger zone. Norwegian papers point out that Germany is bound to give compensation in any case, but money cannot compensate for lives and ships. Norway must demand German ships and compensation for dead seamen's families
