The Vienna newspaper "Weiner Zeit" states that two large companies have been formed in the Ukraine with capital from German financiers, one an industrial undertaking with twenty million marks capital under Krupp's direction, the other a bank with five million marks, under the auspices of the Deutsche Dresden, and Darmstadt banks, and the Discontagellschaft. PUPPET KING FOR FINLAND. AMSTERDAM, August 25. German papers state that the Grand Duke Adolf of iMecklenbcrg will accept the throne of Finland offered by a Finnish deputation hoav in Berlin. IN SIBERIA. WASHINGTON, August 25. According to information reaching official circles virtually all Siberia is controlled by anti-Bolshevik forces. Irkutsk is the only important point in the hands of the enemy. The State Department is advised that the new Government at O'msk is similar to that formed in Vladivostock. Hundreds of wounded CzechQ-Slovaks have reached Vladivostock. They are still determined after their desperate fighting against the Bolsheviks and the former Austrian and German prisoners. Many refugees were found living in tents and freight cars, in .•» most pitiable condition, along the Chinese railway and the Eastern railway west of Harbin.,

According to a despatch from Tol&o to a local Japanese paper, a portion of the Japanese expedition to Siberia sent through Manchuria has reached Harbin. Chinese detachments have joined the Japanese. Received 11-45 a.m. NEW YORK, August 26 A United Press message from Tokio reports that 12.000 of the enemy attacked the Allies on the Ussuri front on Sunday, but were completely repulsed. TWO ZEPPSTDAMAGED. v LONDON, August 25. Two damaged Zeppelins were seen off Norway during Friday's violent storm. The crews aboard were unable to control the airships, whicb it is believed foundered in the North Sea.
