NEW ZEALAND NEWS
COAL SITUATION UNCHANGED. WESTPORT, this day. The coal situation is unchanged. Denniston is working the same as usual, but Miller ton and Stockton are still out, and more colliers are arriving in town. Shipping to-day is practically at a standstill. The Canopus, Alexander, and Nile are in port, but there is no coal. The railway yards are well lined with strings of empty coal waggons.
