o The following is the Ladies Huia Hockey team picked to visit Raetihi on Thursday next: K. Dowling, M. Beattie, N. Laurpnsen, D. Bray, E. Sinclair, C. Donovan, A. Campbell, E. Kilkolly, M. Mullins and E. Dowling, Mrs. Dunbar will accompany the team as chaperon.

, At a meeting of the Huia Hockey Club held last night, Mr Jefferies donated £2 towards the expenses of the girls travelling to Raetihi, which was received with acclamation. The executive also passed a resolution thanking those employers who granted leave to members of the team to enable them to make the journey. The accounts in connection with the dance were passed for payment. The meeting then closed with the usual vote of thanks to the chair.
