AUSTRIA ALARMED. .. BERNE, August 15. The Austrian Government is seriously alarmed at the rapid spread of the Czecho-Slovak disaffection, and is endeavouring to rigorously repress it by numerous arrests, and by shooting these arrested. KAISERS CONFER. AMSTERDAM, August 14. A message from Vienna states that the Emperor Carl has proceeded to German main headquarters, accompanied by his Foreign Minister and the Chief of the General Staff. RAID ON KARLSRUHE. LONDON, August 14. A Geneva message states that a, British bomb during Sunday's raid on Karlsruhe struck the arsenal, causing a great explosion. Others seriously damaged the railway station and Ducal Palace. Eleven were killed.
