six' motor-boats. lost. Received 2.30 p.m. LONDON, August 12. The Admiralty reports: Our light forces and aircraft reconnoitred the West African Coast and were heavily attacked by German aircraft.’ Six motor-boats failed to return. Apart from this we suffered neither damage nor casualties.
