Mr- .and Mrs. Phillips left home early in the-!even-ing, and were absent some shjbflrs. During their absence the robbery oc- ” curred. As they were leaving their hoine early in the evening .they noticed a pile of cases on the kerb.nearby;: when they returned the boxes had been removed. Inside the house they found their most cherished possessions of jewellery, plate, silverware, and the best of their clothing had vanished. It is believed the stolen goods were packed in an empty case and carted to some place of concealment.
