WOMEN’S WORKING CLUB.
A special meeting of tlie Taihape Women’s Working Club was held in.the CUb-rooms last night. Present: Mesdames Plummer, White, McAuliffe,, MiHer, Bennett, Hamill, and Clark, and Messrs Neagle, Clark and Evans. Apologies were received-from Mes>dames Boyd, and Neagle. Considerable discussion, took placere the date of the Children’s FancyDress Ball, and eventually a notice of motion was given by Mr. Clark that at the next meeting of the. committeehe would propose that the chil deep’s Jji ball be postponed till a later the present date interfered with the school examinational^ The next meeting!®! the Club will take place on Friday, August 16, at 7.30 p.m. .!
