A "ROMEO” ARRESTED.

This was a case of Romeo and Juliet, said counsel at Highgate, London, defending Sidney Willis, employed hy the Y.M.C.A,,: against a charge of loitering.

Accused, it appeared, had been in the habit of attending the City Temple, and there he saw a young woman who greatly attracted him. He went to the church constantly in the hope of seeing the young woman again, bu« the only occasion he caught a glimpse of her was when taking a walk at North Finchley. He saw her get off a tramcar at Tally Ho Corner, and since then he has made several visits to the spot, where the alleged-loitering took place, in the hope of seeing her again. In discharging Willis the maglstrate said he had only himself to blame if he behaved in such a stupid way.
