IN THE AIR.

CO-ORDINATION OF AIR SERVICES URGED. POSSIBILITY OF BERLIN BEING BOMBED. Received 10 a.m. NEW YORK, July 29. Mr. Branckner, Controller-General of Equipment of the British Air Force, says an air offensive against Germany is possible, and the United States ought to have an Air Secretary to organise a great air army. Britain had found it essential to centralise the control of the air forces in order to fight the Zeppelins and Gothas, and to develop air strategy. He says that if the Allies reorganise and co-ordin-ate resources they will be able in the near future to bomb German towns and cities, and even to raid Berlin. He urged the speeding-up of airplane monsters.
