AUSTRO-HUNGARY AMENITIES.
The Hungarians love the Austrians about as much as the South Germans like the Prussians. Viennese newspapers announce that the Hungarian authorities now police the frontier rigorously to prevent any food being smuggled into Austria. The watch Is maintained by armed iLandstrum men and a corps of Amazonian women Inspectors. Not a single parcel or piece of luggage may be taken into" Austria without undergoing examination. Any food discovered is seizec. "The Hungarians are determined," laments the Socialist "Arbeiter-Zeitung" of Vienna, "that not a scrap of their food shall by any chance find its way into Austrian hands."
