IN ALBANIA. ALLIES GRADUALLY CLEARING COUNTRY. LONDON, July 23. Mr Jefferies states that the Allies are gradually capturing the whole territory for twenty miles between El Basan and Berat. The Albanians vcngefully led the pursuit through the highlands, the Italians following to give the final blow. The Austrians are still holding out around Goritza.

The Franeo-Italian advance in Albania contincs. The Italians have crossed the Devoli ,north of Berat. The French, on the right, are clearing Gona, one of the highest mountains between the Devoli and Skumbi rivers threatening the road between Struga and El Bashan. DESPERATE STRUGGLES LONDON, July 23.
