MUTUAL MEDIATION. PEACE RUMOURS FROM SPAIN. LONDON, June 27 Reports from Madrid state that the Austrian Ambassador visited the Spanish Foreign Minister, and that it is reported in the lobbies that the Governmen is anxious to adjourn Parliament in order to be at full liberty to intervene in international affairs of the highest importance.

The Foreign Minister denies these lobby rumours. The Amsterdam correspondent of the Daily Express says that "well-informed Dutch opinion understands that Dr. yon Kuhlmann's speech will shortly be followed by an offer of neutral mediation, headed by the Queen of Holland and the King of Spain.
