A VAST CEMETERY.

ALONG THE PIAVE EIVER. ENEMY LOSES 250,000 MEN. MILAN, June 26. The whole countryside between Montcllo an dSan Dona do Piave is a vast cemetery. Thousands of unburied corpses in certain places render the air unbreathable. It is estimated that rlio Austrian losses since the offensive total nearly a quarter of a million. Many Italian prisoners, who were 1 wounded have been rocovored. Airmen detected the Austrians moving inland on the left bank of tho Piave a prodigious array of artillery, amounting to 3,000 pieces. Italian strategists anticipate that tho Austrians in the near future will concentrate in the mountain sectors, and point out that they are still capable of considerable effort.
