BATTLES RAGING ALL OVER RUSSIA. CHINESE AND JAPANESE AID IN SIBERIA. NEW YORK, June 27. The United Press Association's Stockholm correspondent states that representatives of the Siberian, Chinese and Japanese Governments are in conference. It was learned here that the purpose was to bring Chinese and Japanese «Jd into the war against Germany in Siberia. Japan is asking privileges in the exportation of minerals in return for her assistance.
The correspondent states that the Bolshevik! are 'sending' Red Guards to the villages to forcibly-seize bread from the peasants: Battles'are raging, in the' 'Ol'entska, Viatka, Kurak} Sip.ibirsk, 'Kasan, Koskromakasah, Riazian, and OrlofT 'districts. Hundreds of peaant's and Red Guards were killed. Baltic sailors in Petrograd revolted, and demanded the abdication of the Bolsheviki. Workers exploded munition and powder stores at Odessa and Behderi, to prevent seizure by the Germans. Many were killed. The New York Times Washington correspondent states -that -America plans to assist Russia without delay, but the assistance will not be military. It will aim at the commercial, industrial, and agricultural building up of Russia. The Government will consult the Allies and ask them to assist in the economic building up of Russia. M. Boschfleurit, the New York World's Russian correspondent, cabling from Murmansk, in Arctic Russia, says that the Finns and the'Germans are steadily advancing" oii''Russian territory toward the Murmansk railroad. They are advancing "along the
Tornea and. Koe ; ua fiVer's, arid from Eopia via the Kem River. The forces are now approaching the direction of the White Sea. The Councils of Workers and Peasants in Northern Russia realise that they can only be saved from German enslavement by Allied help. Germany is not keeping the Brest Litovsk treaty, as Germans took part in the operations both in the Ukarino and Finland. The German's present endeavour is to cut all communication between Petrograd and its Arctic port. BOLSHEVIK GOVERNMENT OVERTHROWN. KORNILOFF CAPTURED MOSCOW. LENIN AND TROTSKY FLED. Received 8.4 a.m. LONDON, June 2S. General Korniloff is reported to have captured Moscow and overthrown the Bolshevik Government.
