A MINISTERIAL VISIT.

The Hon. W. D. S. MacDonald, Minister of Agriculture, will be present at the Rangitikei A. and P. Show tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon. At 3 o'clock in the afternoon the Minister will give an address on most important topics in the Town Hall supper room, and it is hoped that as many representative people as possible will , .take this chance of meeting Mj. MacDonald, who, ,in addition to being lone of the hardest-working members' of the Cabinet, is ,also a thoroughly practical and enthusiastic agriculturalist.* It is understood- that Mr. MacDonald will be entertained in the evening, about eight o'clock, at Era's Hotel, by •farmers and all .who find it convenient •to be present. He is to reach Taihape by the 6.30 train to-moYrow morning; Mr. R. W. Smith, whose guest it is understood" he will be while in Taihape, will meet him at the railway station, and later in the day do what is possible to give him an insight into questions that are of importance to the town and district. We particularly suggest tnat leading settlers should hear the Minister in the afternoon, and later take steps to approach him upon what appears to them vitally important gfnatters in connection ✓with our distract; 1 or those affecting the Dominion generally as far as they •have any relevattcy to the Department under Mr.' MacDonald's direction:
