LOCAL FANCIERS' SUCCESSES. Local poultry fanciers were very successful in the Poultry Section at the National Section at the National Show held in Palmerston this week, winnning 31 prizes, including the Special Challenge Shield for White Wyandottes, which Mr. J. Stent—Rhode IslandJ^Red: First for cock, h.c. for cockerel; first for Black Bantam, second for Utility Cockerel; four firsts for Pigeons. B. A. Fraser Black Orpingtons: First for cocks, second for hen, first and special for cockerel, second for pullet. Utility division: First for cock, second for hen, second for cockerel; first and special for pullet. J. R. Cunninghame—White Wyandottes: First, special and Challenge Shield for hen; first and second for cockerel; first and third for pullet The total works out: One shield, three specials, sixteen firsts, eight seconds, three thirds—Total 31 prizes.]
