A report from Montevideo states that Spanish ships are being held up on the ground that Germans have been 'smuggled on board.
According to a writer in the San Francisco Argonaut, Bishop Weldon is of the opinion that marriage to a German or an Austrian ought to be sufficient grounds for divorce.
A late cable states that twenty-one German torpedo boats, in addition to several destroyers and are hemmed in the port of Zoobrugge as a result of the recent operations by the British "bottling’ 7 squadron.
A reminder is given of the St. Margaret’s Guild euchre party, which Is to be held at the Three Stars to-night. Provision has been made for a large attendance, and nothing has (been left undone to make the evening a thoroughly enjoyable one;
Burial and marriage fees have been advanced by 10 per cent, in the Sheffield district. On .a piece of paper was written the words "Conscience money. 77 There was no indication whatever of the sender.
