KING’S THEATRE. The Metro Company have produced a play in “The Haunted Pyjamas” that is altogether novel and unique, breaking away from the presenting a picture story of great interest; with plenty of fun, some good dramatic situations and a delightful love interest. Harold Lockwood is the “star” and he has never boon seen to better while as the leading lady a new and most pleasing actress has been secured in Carmel Myers—a girl possessing charm and personality to a marked degree. Magic has been introduced into this story, as the title indicates, but that does not mean it is a story for children, Although the main idea may be an impossibility, the story has been so cleverly and brilliantly conceived and worked out that it is without question one of the most popular Metros produced this and has broken all previous Lockwood records in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. The supporting pictures are good, the 19th episode of “The Iron which is to be schown to-night, being particularly so.

EVERYBODY’S. No player upon the silent stage has won moving picture fans with such unanimity and in such a short as winsome June the sparkling little William Fox star. Miss Caprice’s thoroughly natural screen art, her daintiness and the sunshine that J she seems to rediate, have put her “first in the hearts” of a millian “fans.” Her latest film “A Modern showing at the Town Hall to-night, is( Ja very delightful film, and the smiles of June Caprice are an asset to the story. The personality of the artiste j-sserts itself throughout the play ? and she wins over to her support a somewhat dissolute youth, his stern father and mother, and in fact } nearly everybody else. There is a charm about the play and the actress that we cannot describe but it will be felt by all who see it.
