GERMANS TO BE DEPORTED. TOKIO, June 8. The chief reason why Japan asked China to expel Germans is that German consuls and others are indulging in anti-lllied propaganda. The recent Japano-Chinese treaty forces the Chinese to deal with the matter. OTTAWA, June S. The United Press Peking correspondent states: Approximately 8500 Germans, mostly business men, will be deported from China, and be interned in Australia. It is declared that Japan will adhere to the sensible Anglo-Japanese alliance and continue to proseeuto war against Germany.
