AMUSEMENTS.
KING'S THEATRE. Original in every way is the story told in "An Alabastor Box," the Gri;iter Vitagraoh future. 'Alice Joyce returns to her former glories in this truly great play. Andrew Bolton was .'the leading citizen of a country town, and his speculations failed involving the town in heavy loss, ad leading him to disgrace, and imprisonment. The townspeople, instead of bestirring themselves spend their time in reviling the memory/ of Andrew Bolton, and the place falls into decay. Then Lydia Orr comes to live there —a young beautiful and wealthy girl. She buys the Bolton homestead and spends money lavishly, but scandal soon speaks evil of her. • When at the last Andrew Bolton, his mind affected by his long imprisonment comes home, the people find Out that Lydia is his daughter. They rush to the house intent on mischief and there occurs a tremendously dramatic scene when the old man faces them down. Supporting the above is a Graphic, Pathe comedy, and the second series of Bairnsfather 's Cartoons.
