When the D.I.C. re-makes a down quilt, the whole of the old cover is removed, the down redistributed in a new madapolam lining which is then worked into the new outer cover. Plus the cost of materials required. viz: 6 yards figured Sateen (to be selected from patterns sent) 2J yds Plain Sateen (to tone) 5J yds Madapolam, 40 ins wide (for inside cover) This method enables the buyer to select her own designs in Sateen, also style of making, and when the re-made q.iilt is returned home a brand new quilt is received.
