WANGANUI RACES. WANGANUI, this day. The Wanganui J. C. Winter Meeting opened to-day. There was heavy rain during the night and in the early forenoon, but it cleared before racing commenced. The track is heavy and the attendance large. Borough Hep.—Galore 1, Rawawore 2, Lady General 3. Scr: Hushman, Bivouac. Won by a neck, head separating second and third. Hack Steeples.—Onipoto 1, Gaekwar 2, Companion 3. Scr: beeside, Foeman, Dasher Boy. Won by two lengths.
