CUT-AND-RUN WARSHIP.

GOEBEN STILL FIGHTING FIT. Constantinople despatches allege that the Turkish Naval Minister visited the Turco-German battle cruiser Gdeben on February 7 and was assured by the German commandant that “the fighting efficiency of the cruiser was in no respect impaired” by its adventures in the Dardanelles on and after January 20. According to the German press, the vessel is unscathed “except for unimportant damage to one funnel and the wireless apparatus.”

This information is verified by a cable mesasge this week, which states that the Goeben is now in Sebastopol, where the Germans have captured the Black Sea Fleet.
