CONSCRIPTION OF FARM LABOURERS. A CANADIAN PROTEST. Received 8.50 a.m. OTTAWA, May 14. ' Farmers throughout the Dominion are making a monster protest against the conscription of farm labourers for the Army. They have been informed by the Premier, Mr Borden, that no matter what the hardship, it is the supreme duty of the country to maintain reinforcements in France.
