KING'S THEATRE. Tlio “Scaled Valley ’’ is a stirring dramatic play with, big situations and (inciting climaxes, produced by the Metro Company, with the illustrious emotional actress, Dorothy Donnelly, in the lead, Although the story takes us back to the Indian settlement it is not the usual Indian story, The picture is beautifully produced with some truly magnificent scenery and the acting is of a high order of merit. The above is supported by aßex Beach Travel Scenic and a 2000 feet comedy, will . continue -'friendly nuetrals. .Jalu'iX—aid—* EVERYBODY'S. viM/'Cao {n't ■ The-swift,'.'sharp''action", and fire- cf * a" 'military!seajfip -shn -through the- hew William Fox pn®t«i'e , .iii- ‘which Theda 1 Bara- appears, -blinder Two Flags,” It is a dramatisation of Ouida’s famous novel, conceived in all splendor and glory with which the author wrote the book which has captivated all readers. The story is closely followed and the producer has succeeded very happily in introducing a fine atmosphere into the Algeria scenes and those representing the ride across the desert, which, but for dho fact that one knows they were made in California, might have been-taken in Algeria itself. The production;is noteworthy, however, for other things besides, its excellent backgrounds and the scene that will attract most attention by reason of its sensational. character, is the chase of Cigarette by the Arabs and its climax, ■which provides one of the most thrilling incidents ever projected upon the screen. Indeed, we are not sure, that it is not, from some points of view, too realistic, for we sec horses and rides dash over a cliff and drop into the water below, with every indication that some at last, to those who toolpart did not escape scatheless. “Under Two Flags” is one of the best of the Fox Film productions yet soon on this side and the attendance will doubtless pan out in accordance with this fact. AUSTRALIAN GAIETY COMPANY. The above combination, which hhs been greeted with crowded houses and appreciative audiences in the various Main Trunk centres, will un. doubtedly he accorded a good house in the Town Hall on Friday night. /" the members of the combination excel in their own particular line,"and the management has so arranged that nothing but the latest and most up-to-date numbers are presented. To those who love a good laugh and are fond of good music, the programme should immediately appeal. The hypnotic demonstration by Les Delmira is said to be unique in its way, andl altogether the Company present a highly interesting and well-balanced programme.
