Received 8.45 a.m. PARIS, May 9, The Rresidlbnt otf the Union (of Georgians of the Caucasus has announced they refuse to recognise the Brest Litovsk treaty, and are determined to resist to desperation the Germano-Turkish invasion, and make any sacrifices in order to block the road to Bagdad and India. The Georgians will never suffer the German yoke. They favour a great Slav federation, UKRAINE RADA OUTRAGED. AMSTERDAM, May 8. The “Yorwaerts” publishes Ukrainian official messages stating that on the afternoon of the 26th April, German soldiers entered the Rada at Kieff, ordered the members to “hands up,” assaulted the President, and illtreated others for • protesting against the outrage. The soldiers occupied the Rada for four hours and seized documents.
